Dear Jack,

I suppose that because of your aged and decrepit condition you have been straining your brain since

the Christmas holidays to concoct the review of underline Illinois River Hokey-pokey /underline
which appeared in the March 16th issue of "Book Week" of the Sun Times. Otherwise I would have received
an answer to my note which accompanied the Xmas card sent you at that time.

Are you on the mailing list and do you get World Progress, The Standard Quarterly Review? It stinks. I went

in and saw Mr. W. H. Ward, Sr. a few months ago. He is in bad shape; can hardly see, is very thin and quite
shaky. As I wrote you, I am leading
