Dear Jack -
I'll be hung up here for at least another month, during which time you will be damn tired of that box in your hall.
If Frank is around will you give him part of the enclosed to repack and ship my goods? The rest I owe you for phone calls. Despite the fact that I make about 90 bucks a week and lead a monastic life I'm always broke. Do you suppose Jack, Jack, Jack, Jack, has a remedy for this paradox? I'm either going to write in MacArthur or Eisen, or both when I vote.
An anonymous note called my attention to a Daily News report on the Brooding [[Dr?]]. There was a hint that his success is based on a secret watermelon patch and not Doubleday dollars. And you said he weren't no farmer!! Those Japanese Americans are clever, Pops.
