Dear Jack-
Not much happens in
this [?] [?] valley. No 69,72 except
as numbers in the Daily Double and that,
as you know, can be very tiresome.
Blake as you can
see from the enclosed is between
amours. He is extremely resilient and
will [?] so I waste no time
feeling sorry for him. I sometimes get
the feeling that he is laughing at himself
all the time.
Nelson mentioned that
he was going to be in Indianapolis
for the convention. Are you sure
it is a writing assignment? I
thought he was going to attend
to participate in the gambling usually
found at such gatherings. I'd like to
go with him as a shill but my
duties here won't end until Oct. 29.
