Dear Lawrence -
So much has happened - you must have heard and yet I must answer your exquisite letter - how as yet I know not - and so.
Peter and I are to be married around the end of March which is the best and most beautiful thing that could happen to me now. I hope that your life can be as good - which sounds conceited but really of taken in the spirit in which it was meant - vouz comprenez?
New York is wonderful, but I am leaving on Friday for Boston. I am happier here than there, but everywhere now with this new thing which is really no different for me than for many others though it seems so.
