Dear Jack -
I received two packages from your loyal hand yesterday. I appreciate the struggle you went thru packaging and mailing - it took me a month to mail that box to Blake. Thanks very much. Now that the big box has been reduced in weight perhaps the express man will accept it. Don't knock yourself out, send it Express Collect.
Wharton had a searing review in the P.D. last Sunday. He not only devastated the author, G. Stein, but took a swipe at his fellow critics. He insinuated that most critics were devoid of humor, favoring unamerican whelps, who lack integrity and are guilty of an infantile disorder. Is that be wetting?
Since Stein is a hebe I'm tempted to write the edition a letter. It is only a temptation and will pass. I've been made wary by my interviews with the postal authorities.
Yrs,
B
