Dear Jack-
Looks like there might
be a little trouble there. Our troops,
fortified by businessmens lunches,
should have little trouble with the
undernourished Reds. Sec Wilson
is an old businessman-lunch-man
of good standing in many businessmens
lunch clubs. Consequently he should
be rarin' to go. He alone could probably
account for three or four Chinese
divisions. That's probably what he
had in mind when he mentioned
the little trouble as a "ripple".
The man that runs
this flea bag is a [?] from
Chicago. It is just a notch above
skid row. This makes it an appropriate
dwelling for a hose degenerate. If
I'm slow on my rent or need a
buck the [?] always comes up.
Freddie Tour[?] should
come down and select one of the
numerous wealthy [?] widows who
wander around looking for indigent
husbands.
