User-Contributed Transcription Sunday Feb 20Dear Jack,Had a couple notes from Bud, but can't make much sense out of either of them. He keeps saying over and over "Conway is a lucky man, a lucky man." He doesn't mention a furlough. Just says how lucky you are, and that I should go and talk to Joe.How does Balch stay out of the army? I don't get it.I'm no longer certain whether I'm in the army or in some labor battalion. Couldn't figure out what was wrong; but that seems to be the answer alright.   Hope to get a furlough sometime in April. Sure would be fine if Bud got to Chicago about that time.   I'm still on extra-duty, but by this time it doesn't make any difference any more, because you do extra duty here whether you're on it or not. Best to everybody-Nelson
