I must confess that this year, for the first time, I altogether forgot about International Cat Week, and I thank you for reminding me. I've tried to do my part by applauding when an elderly gentleman across the street put out a saucer of milk for stray cats. In general, I don't fight the good fight the way I used to but stand always ready to cheer on those who do. As for the explanation about corn and babies, that was a revelation!
