Creator Taylor, Graham, 1851-1938

Description Works, correspondence, and family papers of minister, social worker, professor, and founder of Chicago Commons settlement house, Graham Taylor.
User-Contributed Transcription light of goodness, & hospitality & service in that crowded neighborhood. (It just now occurs to me that Horace Humphrey would take me in to one of the meetings sometime. He was my brother's classmate.)
Mrs Emily Sheridan enjoyed her work there so much, & [[?]] Mrs Conant was deeply touched by her remembrance [[?]] the Commons womans' Club in their Golden Wedding anniversary.
I sometimes meet Mrs Taylor at the Chicago Womans Club, or rather saw here there & greet her. She was always surrounded by people who knew here well & were so glad to see here. And we were all so proud of her there.
