Description One of the funeral services for the victims at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church on July 28, 1915. Twenty-nine caskets line the front of the church, with packed rows of grievers in the foreground. The back of the postcard reads, "One funeral, 29 coffins. Scene at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Hawthorne, during the services for victims of the Eastland disaster." Hawthorne was original name of Cicero, Illinois, which was the location of Western Electric Company?s Hawthorne Works. Postcard published by Max Rigot Selling Company, Chicago, Illinois.
