Description
Rows of victims draped with cloth inside the Second Regiment Armory, located at the intersection of Washington Boulevard and Curtis Street in Chicago's Near West Side community area. The Second Regiment Armory was set up as a temporary morgue for victims of the Eastland disaster. Several versions of this image exist, including at least one taken by Jun Fujita and one being published on the front page of the Chicago Examiner on July 25, 1915. Postcard published by F. H. Kerr, Chicago, Illinois.
