Description The Eastland full of passengers circa 1903 or 1904. Note that the Eastland has the shield logo on her bow. After the 1904 season, the Michigan Steamship Company painted over the shield logo and replaced it with "Chicago & South Haven Line" above her name. The Michigan Steamship Company owned the Eastland from 1903 to December 1905 and ran a 77-mile route on Lake Michigan between Chicago, Illinois, and South Haven, Michigan.
