Description Eastland going under a bridge in Chicago River, circa 1903 or 1904. Note that the Eastland has the shield logo next to her name on her bow. After the 1904 season, the Michigan Steamship Company painted over the shield logo and replaced it with "Chicago & South Haven Line" above her name. The Michigan Steamship Company owned the Eastland from 1903 to December 1905 and ran a 77-mile route on Lake Michigan between Chicago, Illinois, and South Haven, Michigan. Postcard sent on November 10, 1906, and includes recipient and handwritten message. Postcard published by P. Schmidt, Chicago, Illinois, and printed in Germany.
