Description Eastland afloat in the Chicago River, sometime between 1905 and 1907. The Eastland's hull was painted white and a fourth pair of lifeboats were added for the 1905 season. She stopped operating on Lake Michigan after the end of the 1906 season. Printed note on the back of postcard reads, "Steamer Eastland in Chicago River, Chicago. The Steamer Eastland is typical of the numerous summer-bearing excursionists on a trip destined across Lake Michigan."
