Dear Mr. Hanley:

Florence Keene of underlined:  Westward has forwarded to me your kind letter of Nov. 13th addressed to her.   I want to thank you for your"kind words" about underlined:  Shell-Shock.
I would like to know more about "Rebel Poets" and trust you will send information, sample copy of publication, etc.
I have written much verse in rebellion against the underlined:  status quo, but have never been very avid for publication.  I became interested in Russia in 1918, began studying Russian, spent the year 1922 in Russia with the famine relief, and have translated a number of Russia's classic lyrics (one slated to appear in next issue of underlined:  Westward.). . . Just today I submitted a s[?hort?] story paper torn at bottom of page in verse, about Russia, to underlined:  The Forum - but torn paper be able to stand the shock if they a torn paper

Cordially yours
