My dear Dr. Taylor,
It would not be surprising if, in the multitude of your cares, you had forgotten all about a paper on the Bible which I read to the Association several months ago, + which you borrowed, as you were not able to read it.
I hope that you will not go to Chicago, but if Hartford should be so unfortunate to lose you, I beg you will leave behind my lecture on the Relations of Christ to the Old Testament, so that we might use it again should there be a call for it.
