It has done it in a thousand instances & still will.For as there is every grade of knowledge & capacity among the members of society, each one must have a point of perfection for hims. differing fr. his neighbour, & to this he must yeald all his strength & influence-- t. lesser members must be allowed t. same right to prosecute vigorously t. right of their own consciences as t greatest -- & nothing but universal interference & conflict with one another would succeed-- Since therefore t. members of society are diverse in their gifts & capacities; & all imperfect in some degree; how improper for them to condemn one another merely for their difference of opinions in their secular concerns? How improper for one class to burn
