Gd warned his disciples -- Do we Judge our brethren of Mkd, Mankind in t. way, wh. are prohibited -- Do we feel disposed to censure & condemn all who differ fr. us, in religious matters or in civil & secular concerns -- Do we make it our practice to treat all, who disagree with us with contempt, & charge them with wickedness & evil designs -- are we deaf to all sides but our own, & furious when opposed? if so-- We doubtless are those who are reproved in our text as Judging rashly--2dly If we are t. state of those who Judge rashly, we ought to consider that all our censorious speeches & unfriendly accusations stand charged agt us on t. book of God in order to be meted to us again in all their bitterness!
