Hecould see him to be divine, in t. representations of all the scriptures, andseemed to think if he could but convince his brethren of this doctrinehe should gain their salvn. In t.same manner, Ct. appears divine int eyes of all his true disciples, andin him all their hopes centre. &.He is t way - t. truth - & t life.2dly It is amazing, convicting, andprovoking to the enemies ofreligion to have their most zealous, andestablished friend turn directlyabout: & confess their sins & folly, &zealously exhort them to turn about also.
