At one time there was rather too much noise about the door and one of the deacons who stood in front shook his cane threatenlingly in that direction. Altogether it was a most comical mixture of the solemn and ridiculous. But I must say good night, Will you excuse pencil marks just this once - I cannot find a pen. The Etymology came to day.
