We have had company almost all the while for the last two or three weeks; and of course I have been very much engaged have not even seen the time when I could pen a few lines to my much loved Sarah. Now I have gone up to my room for the night but I shall not press my pillow till I have conversed with you a little. Oh how I wish I knew how you are this cold wintry evening I imagine you about closing your eyes
