User-Contributed Transcription it grew windy and like a storm and all night it stormed hard and yesterday, especially in the morning. _ It was so bad that I gave up the idea of going with father to the funeral and Robbie went to drive - but when they got as far as Mr. Pugh's he told father that it was not possible for him to go so they turned back - Lewis brought the children up there in the morning and he and Jane started to go to Penymynydd - when they got to Mr. Pugh's he went with them as far as Rob. Hughes thinking to go up with Lewis and leave Jane at RH. Hughes' - but they gave up and Mr. Pugh went home to watch and tell father that there was no use in trying to go.Mother had written (or rather Eddie wrote) that she would come on the coming trainin marginshe mailed tomorrow. Tommy is here today thrashing - we do not know who we shall have to work for us next summer. It does not seem as tho' we can possibly get along with Robbie. We want father to ask Tommy but do not know what he will do - I had a letter
