User-Contributed Transcription O dear, I wish I could see you and talk things over.  I hope you will not feel vexed at what I have written.  Father and mother intend going to Utica the first of next week to get money to send you against your next rent is due.  We are pretty busy with Cenhadwr.  Lewis printed first side of 1st form today, Anna is reading the pages of other side now.  Yesterday Cynthia and I made Sara and Will a little visit in the afternoon as father had no copy just ready for me.  Sara had taken a hard cold cleaning church Tuesday last but was getting over it.  Wm seemed to breathe pretty hard but said nothing about it.  I wish he could get some-Writing at top and down left side  Mrs. Robt James died this afternoon, she has been very sick for about a week.  Mother and father went Tuesday to see her - she was some better than the Dr. thought.  Dr. Wiggins attended her.
