User-Contributed Transcription Remsen, March 23, 1898.Dear Sister Mary, Anna was going to write to you but she looked so tired that I persuaded her to leave it along tonight and let me write a little. I have just written to Eddie and copied John's letters for him and it is now nearly nine o'clock so I cannot probably finish this tonight - Sarah is feeling quite poorly She has been suffering for a few days with prolapous of the rectum - so that she can hardly get about. She ironed some Friday and also Saturday - Sunday she and Anna staid home and she kept very quiet, lying down a good part of the day. She has been taking short sitzsideways in top margin:clothing and pay his other expences out of his earnings or how? I did mean to do the him myself and not pay very high wages. I must write no more that I may copy one at least of John's good letters for you. Your sister Jennie EverettAccept much love and write soon please
