User-Contributed Transcription it was wonderful to see and hear him. He was a beautiful player and singer too I think tho' I only heard him sing with the rest. One young lady also played with wonderful rapidity and accuracy - afterwards two young ladies came forward and sang while the teacher played on the piano. They had splendid voices - the younger especially clear and bird like, I should judge her to be about 13 or 14 years of age. At the close all the school sang together "Good Morning." I wish you could have heard them, mother, it would have done your heart good. There were also two little girls about 10 yrs of age who came forward and read part of that chapt. "I am the true vine" &c. It was wonderful to hear them one would almost think they would forget their blindness in the fullness of their joy in being able to learn so much. They did indeed look happy and neat and pretty, very pretty many of them. We waited to see
