User-Contributed Transcription came right up when he heard and he wanted to take Mrs. Jones down to Dr. Williams. He did not like to trust the other Dr. but before they started he came. So Mrs. Jones let him set it - he says the bone is only cracked but the wrist is badly sprained - the left arm. Her hand is much swelled today It pained her all night. Sarah went over this morning and slackened the bandages a little and gave her some urn and acon in water to take alternately. Dr. did not give her medicines. I went over through the deep snow the first of the season this P.M. to see her. Ellen is with her. She says she saw a sleigh go past this P.M. We have had a hard storm today, snowing and blowing in real earnest. It looks wintry indeed. Will you ask Mrs. Jones for the names of those who pay to her for the Cen? It will help us to know so that we may not send bill to those who have paid.
