User-Contributed Transcription It seems to me that I am owing you a letter but I have been too busy with necessary duties to think of collecting bills even, to say nothing of the more disagreeable business of paying my debts.  This morning however we saw the Cenhadwr once more leave us and we have a little time to think of something besides that, but it is so warm that there is little energy to our thoughts.  Cousin Mary very agreeably surprised us last evening by coming into the office where we were busy with covering - of course she meant to go to Turin thisin margin  He thinks there is to be a high school in Remsen this winter and that makes him feel a desire to stay and go there.  This morning I gathered the apples from the tree near the grape vine - about a peck in the crab apples ought to be picked too if only we knew what to do with them - out pie apples are nice for cooking now.  It must be about time for black berries now - this must be a busy month for us as it is the time for our Cymanfa.  I am sorry Mrs. Jones cannot come to the meeting.  I saw Mrs. Griffiths Cincinnati in church a week Sunday
