User-Contributed Transcription without umbrellas and got wet to the skin, sopping west, so that all three of the Griffiths girls had to change their clothing there - the sheds in the village were full when they got there so they could find no shelter from the rain. Thos. Evans' people were also among the happy (?) partakers of the huge Muche?. We have been having a rather cold snap - today it has grown warmer and I have no doubt that there was a large attendance on the camp grounds. Yesterday we ironed, baked and canned blackberries - today we churned and - rested. I also wrote a letter to John. Frank had a letter from him last night, he was suffering a good deal from a bad boil on hisvertical writing Are you in especial need of funds just now? Let us know on a separate sheet.
