I hope you will write as often as you can. - write freely and tell us about your studies and doings generally - you know we are interested in all that interests you. Do you have oatmeal and cream for breakfast. Did you buy that pin you spoke of? How are you off for money? Shall we bring or send Mandevilles Elecution? Was that what you asked for? We went with G. to the village Saturday a.m. and made a visit at J. Pugh's with Maria. He was in the shop as the young man who bought the business does the meals.Written sideways on the top:cold weather has prevented his coming - We have and paid all the bills - have money enough we think but cannot get 'round very well - I forgot to put David G's card in your last letter will try to do better this time. I sent a letter today to Hillsdale, Anna dreads starting - We awakened overnight to speak to Mr. P. about the farm next from before we go. Shall we try to keep house? Lovingly your aunties J & A.L.E.
