User-Contributed Transcription We sent your last two letters to Olpe. They returned last evening & we have been having a seasonal fashion rereading them. You ask how high our record of milk was last year 110 I think or thereabouts. We are glad you had a check for butter and will have some coming in from the milk. You will need them to keep your farm and family going! Tell Jane we are much obliged to her for coming up to see us even if she does not write often. I think however that we ought to write to her as she wrote me letter which we did not get an answer! We think of her often, also of Robbie & family & Maggie & her family though we have not yet written to them. Jennie is sitting on a seat which I placed last fall under the farm walnut trees which form a nice shady cluster near the door, to the right.
