User-Contributed Transcription it to her. Mr. P was from home last Sabbath week and he goes to Plainfield next Sunday. He was with us yesterday and preached in our church last evening a very good sermon which I wish you could have heard. It is so nice here now that he does not use tobacco - He is greatly improved. Tell cousin Tom and ask him if he will not try to follow his example - that is the only fault I think my cousin Tom has. Father says that if your head continues to trouble you perhaps you had better come home for a little We should all be very glad to see you, you know that without my writing it - but your know best what you ought to do. Thank you, dear Mary very much for the trouble you took on my behalf. I am glad to know what you think about that Dr. I am very much inclined to try him. I had concluded before getting your letter that it might be scrofula that was the cause of my trouble.
