User-Contributed Transcription breakfast but I'm not sorry it is near 12 now. Tell Anna we had a nice time in the parlor last evening Mr. Farier and his young uncle came in early - Mr. Scott did not come at all. Day before yesterday we were at Mrs Tompkins and while there met Mr. Evan Williams with whom we had a very pleasant little visit. The Welsh people seem quite rejoiced to have a pastor again and, as Mrs Jones says, to think Mr. Davies is "the right man in the right place."   I would be very glad to be home next Sunday but it is doubtless best as it is - we shall think a great deal about you then - hope the roads will not be very bad then and that there will be a good attendance -   What do you think about letting Anna come to stay with Mary if Sara and William do not wish to come? I understood you to say that you would try to spare her in that case and I told Mary so - I am afraid now that I did wrong in saying so as there is no word in reply to the letter I wrote to Wm & Sara.   You must think I am writing pretty often especially if you do not get the mail more than once in two or three days. I am hoping Onie will take this up when he goes home Sunday, - I wish I knew just how much Lewis has got set - have you had proofs get? We did not call at Mr Howard's about the butter - meant to but did
