User-Contributed Transcription March 5, 1879My dear sister,   Yours with the int. checks came this morning. Before I have them exchanged I would like to know how you get along about money and what you need of this. I think I will send them to cousin Alick to be exchanged and a part of it could be made payable to you. We went to see Capt. Minnis yesterday and gave him directions to purchase and send a box of oranges to your address by American Express. They will probably start this eve. - hope you will hear so as to get them before freezing. Wein margin:anything like it. It did not seem possible at first that the finger could be saved. They are much pleased with Mary's success.   Mary has another patient in whom I am much interested - a young lady who has epileptic fits. She has been coming for some time tho' Mary could not promise to cure her. Yesterday Mary got a new hom. remedy which she was told has cured three or four cases - one a very bad one. In the afternoon Mary let me take some of it over for Addie to try. Such a pleasant call I had, I wish one of my sisters couldhom. = homeopathic
