User-Contributed Transcription think that your little sister has improved since coming to Kansas. Be that as it may, she is just the same in tender love to and care for our dear sisters, be they near or far. We three are one in heart and loving sympathy. We are longing for word from you again. It is two weeks since your last was written but we had a Booneville Herald after that. Are you still gaining? Is cousin Jennie there why does she not write? We are very anxious indeed to hear from you again. Do not have too much spring cleaning done. I should think that the sitting room carpet is the only one that must come up this spring & that better be left till Eddie comes home. leave it till you move the stove. Alice can give your room a good sweeping when you can leave it long enough & then wipe the carpet with a damp cloth - It will look nicely. This is a rainy day. John wants to go about 3 miles beyond "town" for Millet seed, but if it does not clear up he cannot go. Jennie + I set out a dozen tomato
