User-Contributed Transcription Home, Saturday EveningDear Sister Cynthia, When we were unpacking the dishes this morning we found they had all come safely except the sugar bowl. That was broken in three pieces- the cover was not injured. I think there was not care enough taken in packing the bowl- there ought to have been no heavy dishes put on top of it. You recollect, any way I do, that I asked Mr. DuBois if he could pack them safely so that they would not break as we were going to carry them in the cars, "O, yes" he said, "we will put them in a box and pack them so that there will be no danger". If you feel pretty well perhaps you could call there and speak to Mr. Dubois, perhaps he will be willing to bear a part of the loss at least so that you could get us another bowl- do not
