RemsenDear Brother Henry,As I am not at all anxious to be obliged to listen to your bragging when you came home about your not having received one letter from home, all this time and as this is the last week of said term in which I shall now have an opportunity at redeeming my letter writing character I have taken the liberty of commencing a letter at this late date hoping that it may not only reach you in time, but that it may also be acceptable if not really looked for. I am looking forward with a great deal of interest and expectation to the two weeks which shall succeed this: Anna and you will probably be able to surmise the reason so I will not take the trouble to explain. --How do you feel about the new field of action into which you seem to expect to enter? Only think, Harry, how much influence it will be yours to exert in these precious young minds which will for these months be placed so entirety under your guidance. And remember, dear brother, that it P.S. - Tues. morning Nov. 6. - I intended to have written to Anna this morning but as father has written to her and as they are in a hurry to send to the mail. I guess I shall not now have time. Give my very very best love to her and ask her to please forgive me for not writing to her this time. But tell she should not be at all anxious about us, lest we should be suffering from fatigue from reading her "many long letters" as I hope we shall be able to prove to her next time.Good bye bub, dont' forget your sister who is two years older than yourself. Mary and Cynthia send each a little bundle of love to you Anna and sister E's family. 'Transcriber's note: writer must be Sarah Ann Everett, who was two years older than Henry. RMR
