User-Contributed Transcription Severy Kansas November 25 1904Dear Aunt Mary - I hope you are all right. We have had no school this week because the teachers wanted to go to the worlds fair. It is nice weather, yesterday was bright and sunny. We ate a chicken that we had raised and papa preached a sermon in the morning. We had dinner about 1.30 and in the afternoon mamma took sick and the doctor came and at 9.20 a bit of a girl came. Mamma is getting on nicely and the baby is down stairs asleep. Edward thinks it is a curious thing. We have not weighed it yet but they think it will weigh about 8 lbs. I am getting along fine in school. Your nephewJ. Roberts Everett
