User-Contributed Transcription 448 Ferry St. Newark, March 20th. /84.My Dear Friend,I beg to apologize for not writing before this, my mind has been considerably anxious as we had news of Mary's death. She died Feb 25th was buried there in Florida but will be brought North next winter when it is coldest there, it was so late in the season the authorities would not allow the removal at present. I didn't get the word till March 11th & was very uneasy after you left till the certainty came. She died very happy & I trust has gone home where suffering is unknown, & now I think of AnnaWe shall be glad to see to see her if she will come to us & will try to make her happy, the Spring promises to open
