I wrote to Elizabeth a few days ago but have not yet received an answer although I am now beginning to expect one. We have been here almost three weeks and I now hope to go home sometime next week. If you knew how homesick I have been you would not wonder that I say hope to go home. Still I feel badly to go and leave Jennie. I am afraid You will excuse me from writing this time as I have today written home and my head does not feel first-rate. I hardly know what to say about myself; I hope I am improving though slowly. Sarah is as she says making fine progress and will probably soon go home. I have been from home so much that I think I shall do very well especially if you and the home friends are faithful writing - You remember Miss Stevens.
