It seems strange to think of being away off here so far from every one and so unsettled. When in Merrill we could hardly get along with the room we had but here we have only four rooms for which we pay eight dollars per month two bed rooms kitchen frontroom and a very small pantry. We have to make a bed on the Carpet every night for the Children. part of our things are out on the farm stored in Corn Crib barn Hog pens &c. Our books and several other things we have not unpacked but have them piled
