Union, was entrusted to me for approximation and I am happy to inform you that a part of it has been applied, and the other I gave to a fellow missionary to be approximated and accounted for by him. You will hear about this as soon as possible. My S. S. missionary labours: it is my plan when I succeed in establishing a new S.S. to have the people raise what funds they can and to draw on our donations for the efficiency. The want of S. Schools in our western vallies is very great for our youth are growing up in great ignorance of God & the Bible, & the claims of true religion. The S. S. is a powerful auxiliary in the great and important work of Home evangelization and eminently successful wherever it is faithfully applied. To give you a view of our S.
