User-Contributed Transcription Monday, June 30thDear Sister:--This term closes one week from tomorrow. I have now been studying thirteen weeks in Whitestown Seminary. I do not know as I have improved my time as well as I ought to have done. But I do know that I have learned something, which I hope will be of benefit to me in days yet to come. In Algebra we have gone nearly to Quadratics, and reviewed considerable.O how I long to be home once more, it seems as though I could not wait for the time to come when I shall be one amongst you. Next Friday will be the fourth of July, and there will be but two days of school afterwards. I hardly think it would be worth while for me to stay after Thursday. If any one will be down with the Cenhadwr I should like to have them call for my things, and perhaps for me. I shall need some more money from home. I owe Mr. Stark about $9 for board, and also $1 room rent, $2.12 tuition, 50c. incidentals, which makes $12.62.
