User-Contributed Transcription Turin, July 15, 1871. Dear Friends, We reached home all safe at six o'clock P.M. It may seem to you a good while to be on the road but I will explain. Our buggy was pretty well filled, you know, and we had the small satchell in front of us and there was nothing to prevent it sliding out so when we were looking at it the mischievous thing slid out, and we did not miss it until we were near Alder Creek, We went back about two miles and found it near Penygraig. No one having passed the spot since we did, it was on the middle of the road.
