Last night I sat up with the corpse of Mrs. Warren Jones, (perhaps you did not know her) and to-day attended the funeral as one of the 'bearers.' I don't know when my mind has wandered back over the past as it has to-day. I wish I could be at home to-night. I wonder what you are all doing. Perhaps father has gone to prayer-meeting, but I hope he is home if it storms as it does here. Yesterday was the only pleasant day we have this week. Snow is about four and a half feet deep and some pitch-holes are nearly as deep. I send you three studs same as before and 2 sample pearl S. buttons 15c per. Doz. I do not know anything about the fifteen
