I think the Exercises were the best we have had. Eddie is looking quite well now. I was over to his room twice Sat, and saw him at Mrs. Ellis Mon. Annie thanks you very much for that tatting. It is very pretty. I am very much obliged to Jane and to Sarah for the collar and cuffs. Please write me what you hear from John. Lincoln, I presumed passed through here to-day, on his way to Utica
