User-Contributed Transcription Fannie has especially enjoyed the mountain scenery which in Norway is not only grand but majestic and awe inspiring in many places. The people also have been very interesting. Very contented happy and allways so obliging and hospitable. It is certainly a jolt to Anglo Saxon selfishness to see them so satisfied with so little and nowhere grasping or self asserting. The Lutheran Church is everywhere and seemingly well attended even in the mountains. The boat (the former German "Imperator") is very fine and a marvel of convenience and even luxury.
