User-Contributed Transcription Uncle Eddies death came to me in a very roundabout way and I thought there must have been some mistake on the part of the old lady in Constableville who said she saw it in the paper. Later when I was in Ogdensburg Clint Williams told me that one of his family saw it in the paper so I wrote my brother Rob to find out and he sent me all the particulars he knew about it.It gives me a very lonesome feeling to know that he is gone. Brother Rob write of the good visit he had with you, If I weren't afraid of turning your head I'd tell you some of the nice things he said about you. I can't tell you how much the letter from my father and mother means to me, I think it is the first real letter I ever saw from my father.
