User-Contributed Transcription Perryville Ohio March 6 -- 1918Please excuse blots my pen leek:s at timesMr and Mrs P C should be J E Everett Overbrook KansasMy Dear dear friends Have taken up my pen, to talk awhile with you, this afternoon, myself doing all the talking, and first I must apologise for my long delay, in answering your xmas greetings, which were so gladly received The delay was not intentional, I assure you, for when it came, I promised myself I would reply very soon, but you probably know how easy it is, to put things off until tomorrow, that should be done to day, and I find it is much easier for me, than it was when I was younger, and then too, I have grown so nervous? in the last year, or two, I can scarcely write a legible hand any more
