User-Contributed Transcription garet seems to be getting better. Edward is getting into the worst period of the disease, we think, and Mary coughs, though as yet not as bad as the other two. It is quite the fashion among the children here now. Two have had pneumonia develop in connection with it. One of them got better & is on the road to recovery. Another,--a 4-year old boy died last night.We have had a light winter though of course we have had some cold weather. My last two trips to Western Park have happened to come on almost if not quite the worst days of the winter. It seems to day ready to turn out to be most any kind weather tomorrow, which is my Park day.I will now close. We hope that you are well. Are you still alone? Is your house comfortable this winter, and does the furnace give good satisfaction?
