User-Contributed Transcription Clinton, NY, Sept, 30, 1884,Dear Aunts; I wonder very much why I do not hear from you; I received a card from Aunt Mary, written on her way to New York, but have had nothing from home I think since I came back. I hope neither of you are sick, and cannot think that you are, because I am sure you would write if you were.  I think I shall like College work very much. So far I enjoy it very much. I have a recitation at 9 a.m., at 11 a.m., and one at three p.m.  Rhetoric comes four times a week, Geometry three times Zenophon's Memorabilia three times, Greek Testament once, and an exercise in English Composition, once.  Wednesday and Saturday afternoons we have no recitations.  Four days in each week namely Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, there is a students prayer-meeting at noon, which is attended by a good number of the students and in which there is manifested a good deal of interest.  At noon on Wednesday, and Saturday there are Rhetorical exercises in the chapel. I come on with a declamation two weeks from tomorrow. Yours of yesterday (30) has come to hand. Very glad to get it & to know that you are pretty well.
